Hi. I'm a student with a very low income, recently I've wanted to build a budget gaming computer but can only afford to buy piece by piece.
I have a Case, RAM, and a DVD Drive. I still need to buy a PSU, Motherboard, Graphics Card, Hard Drive, and CPU. What I'm wondering is if I buy piece by piece what should I buy now and what can I wait to buy later.

Case - CoolerMaster CM690 II.
RAM - G.Skill 8GB.
DVD Drive - Lite on.

I was going to buy the ASRock Extreme3 Gen3 Motherboard tomorrow but wanted some clarification.
If it helps I planned to buy the I3 2120 and a GTX 560 ti. Other parts are to be determined. Thank You.

whats your budget and what res are you gaming at ???? a Asrock Extreme 3 Gen 3 is fine i guess for a lower budget you got to sacrifice some thing i dont think you will upgrade very soon will you ??? and mind it that with a 2nd Gen i3 2120 you cant overclock that CPu at all buddy

My budget is fairly low. If i had to throw a price out. No More than 70$ on the PSU, 150$ on the Graphics Card, and I will be getting the 2120 and Extreme3 Gen3.
I will also be playing on a 21inch monitor if that changes anything. I will not be updating this build unless needs be in the future nor do I think Ill be needing to overclock the CPU.
I'd really like to know in what order should I buy my parts it may take a few months to have everything and I will be ordering from NewEgg.

You can go cheaper on the board. It's a great board, I used to have one, but overclocking capabilities don't matter with an I3. Only a humble suggestion. Have a look at used Gtx 460 possibly. Still a solid performer and you could pick one up for 100$ or so if you look around. Perhaps hold off on CPU/board as ivy releases soon and many ppl will upgrade leaving good deals on used parts and prices will come down a bit. The same can be said for kepler as well. Maybe grab a hdd and psu now and wait on the rest.

Here's a sim~build for you at $700, in just $2+ extra you get a powerful built, having a gtx 480 in it, with a decent motherboard having SATA 3 for your ssd & hdd sata 3 interface and a usb 3.0 for a budget price, no need to get a z68 for the corei3 cpu, save the money throw it in the videocard for maximum performance, the gtx 480 outperform the gtx 560ti by a wide margin. and a decent budget 80+ powersupply to get you going.

Okay and for PSU I should buy Roswell 630W or the Antec 620W? Pretty much going off what you guys think. And I'll be buying the ASRock H61ICAFE
along with the PSU today thanks.

I would love to get a 2500k but that's know where near my budget. Ill be playing a lot of Skyrim and I'm hoping the 2100 or 2120 is good enough for that.

Got a little bit more cash. But I've really been thinking if I get the Extreme3 Gen3 and the i3 2120. And I were to upgrade to an i5 in a year or less would the Extreme3 Gen3 be good enough then?
I know we cant predict the future but how long has that Motherboard been in production? How long would it last? Okay thanks.
