I like fps games because they are good for a quick game, I like rpg's too but they are too imersive.

Most FPS games today are recycled and most FPS's today use the same or very similar engines.
I still enjoy FPS games, but only certain ones.
Bioshock for example, was original and fun.
The campaign of Crysis 2 was surprisingly good IMO.
CS:S is still fun too!

I agree with you, in theory. I always wonder why I get bored in RPGs or MMORPGs while I continue to play FPS games, which are essentially the same thing (or very similar) over and over again. Nonetheless, I still enjoy FPSs more than any other genre, so I'm sticking with them

i think what is boring is how many person like you have said that in the past that is boring everyone has is own taste if you don't like don't play simple
fps games are what got me into pc gaming (c-s, tf, ut, & q3a ftmfw).
if you don't like fps games, go play hello kitty island adventure or something.
