Hello, people, my computer has nothing wrong with it's cooling but I have abit silly question about outside air, sometimes I open window to ventilate the place with refreshing air, however, will it harm a working computer due to thermal expansion/contraction? or possible harm to LCD monitor?

It depends on how cool we are talking about. As long as it isn't below feezing it shouldn't harm anything.
Not really, I had my PC under the window for years and still working. But watch out for really high in-out temperature differences, if you live in Alaska letting in chilling air might build up moisture on metal parts

It's like 7C° here and %71 moisture at the moment, and it only gets colder as it gets closer to winter. I opened window for 5 minutes, I closed immediately after I heard contraction sounds, I hope I didn't harm anything![tongue.gif]( "tongue.gif")
