Hello!
I just bought the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 990FX Motherboard and decided to go with an 8GB kit from A-DATA. This is the first time I use this brand and I really wanna see how it performs for its price.
The frequency of the Memory kit is 2000MHz.
The maximum frequency my UD7 motherboard will support is 2000MHz(O.C.).
But what does the OC mean? Probably "Overclock", but why? Will I run into problems when I just install the Memory in my motherboard and set the frequency to 2000MHz in the BIOS?
I've only been using 1600MHz RAM so far and that's why I have no idea.
If there's something to overclock for the Memory to run properly, how will I do it correctly?
Thanks in advance!
