HTPC XBMC/Plex Setup

Hey guys, me and my roomates recently decided that we should setup an HTPC. We already have one hell of a library, but we just needed something to manage it with. At first I was suggesting building one from scratch and using either a Silverstone SG05 or something of the like, but it turns out that my roomate really wanted to buy a Mac Mini (and thanks to ESP we got our hands on one for a good price:))

The model is an A1283 and the gpu is a Geforce 9400m. Its going to be running either XBMC or Plex, depending on whichever one we choose to use in the end.

So my question was, do you guys think that the Mac Mini will be able to play 1080p movies without a hitch (and I mean full non-compressed 1080p) or are there going to be some problems?
Thanks in advance.

From what I've been piecing together from reading about the 9400M, it should be able to played compress (mkv blu-ray rip) 1080p content without a hitch, provided thats all you're having the system due (which sounds like you would with xbmc). I'm unsure if it will be able to play completely non-compressed 1080p as the card may run out of vRAM to buffer that (but I could be wrong).

Alright cool. Most of our content is 720p or compressed 1080 but we did keep a certain few in full quality (The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Inception, and a couple of others) and I just wanted to see if I needed to compress them or if I could leave them the way they were. I guess I'll see what happens when I try them later today. Thanks for your help.
