Greetings. My build is in my signature. I went out and bought some new RAM today and after popping it in, I noticed it was at 1333 instead of 1600. After going into BIOS and manually setting it to 1600, my processors speedstepping has stopped working and it sat at 3.3ghz.

I attempted changing the AI Auto Overclock to XMS, and all that did was force the processor to sit at 3.7ghz instead of 3.4ghz.

Is that normal behavior? If not, how should I go about fixing it?

if you turn off assus ai overclock suite , and you set the ramm back to where it was by default. You can flip the tpu switch and it will set your processor to 4.3 ghz and your ram to slightly over 1600 on its own. I know its a lame way to do it but it works if you get to frustrated lol.
