So I hope I'm posting this in the correct area.
I have an HP DV7-6135 and recently I started doing a lot of gaming on it. One thing I noticed was it gets really hot. I have a cooling pad but it doesn't seem to move the air around nearly enough.
The CPU temp gets to around 80C when gaming and idles around 46-52C.

My question is, is there a stronger heatsink I can get for this laptop? Or are there other cooling methods that can be of use to me? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What GPU do you have?

Whichever it is I'm sure the max temp for it is 100c

My GPU is usually at 77 percent and sometimes goes up to 83....All are safe temperatures.

I keep hearing people obsessing over the cooling for laptop...there is only so much space....it's the tradoff for buying a laptop. As long as it doesn't get over 90c it's okay. If it does get over 90 it's probably because of a dirt clog...which look like a sheet blocking the air vents.
