can i fit a Micro ATX motherboard in a ATX case? will everything line up in my big case or should i try and find a full size ATX motherboard

In most full size cases this will work, as micro ATX is used so they can fit in smaller cases. Most mid-towers and full-towers accept both micro-atx and atx or extended atx. Usually it is the small cases that use micro atx because they cannot fit regular ATX, so you should be fine. I know my full-tower can. If you are really worried check the manual/ website.
