Most people are just gonna go pick up a Ipad 2/ Ipad 1 for ~ 300 dollars instead

 

I got one! White 16gb.. was thinking about getting more storage but, wallet doesn't allow it...

oh well still excited for Friday!

 

Preordered a black 16gb Wifi.

I'm kind of thinking about returning it and getting a LTE version though.

 

the only way i will get an ipad is if they put android on it!

 

I considered getting one when my eee Pad Transformer was having issues, but i've fixed the problems i was having with the help of folks here...

Also I was playing with an original iPad for a bit (Borrowed it to load up the Mass Effect iOS stuff) and I just didnt feel it was better than my Transformer... I prefer the Youtube app and a few other things for Android over iOS in this instance

For the record, I have an iPhone 4, so im not exactly "biased" here one way or another

 

Bought a Transformer Prime instead.

 

Will be buying one soon.

 

So some guy comes into my Security+ class today talking about his iPad 3 that he got yesterday from Best Buy. They sold him a iPad 2 telling him it was the 3. Or he heard what he wanted to hear but I wouldn't put it past them.

 

I was going to because I sold my iPad 2 about a month ago for $485 so I could get the new iPad but I was waiting for Amazon to sell it so I can use my gift cards. Then I decided to hold off until it gets jailbroken and bought a Transformer Prime instead until it gets jailbroken because I missed having a tablet.

I really like the Prime though, there's a lot to like about it.

If the little issues don't annoy you its easily one of the best out there. If you got a bad prime or are easily annoyed by small issues. Or if you bought the prime to be a 10" replacement for your Garmin then your going to hate it.
Also glad you like it. What serial is yours? C1, C2?

 

I didn't because it's a limited, useless device.

out of all aplle products this is the most overated hunk of crap ever. (all ipads)

plus apple is a horrible company. don't give them your money.

Sony's Walkman sounds better than iPod ..actually Walkman's sound quality is best..still cost cheaper than iPod..

Not getting one just yet. I'm waiting for it to mature, really. I have a feeling iPad 1/2 apps are going to look stretched or even similar to how iPhone apps looked on the iPad1/2. Also, I quickly ran out of storage on my iPad 2, (16GB) so I'll probably opt for a 32GB version this time around.

 

Posting this from my iPad3 which I picked up last night at midnight at wal mart! 16gb black wifi only. I started an owners club thread too but not sure if that's acceptable. Nobody replied yet hah!

I got in line at wal mart at 11last night and was the 22nd person in line. They had thirty. I got the very last 16gb wifi unit which also happened to be my preferred color too.

The only C is my serial number has a 0 following it.

 

I didn't buy one because I have a Macbook Pro, a 1st gen iPod mini, iPod touch 3 and an iPhone 4 - and I have 3 other laptops.

I do like the iPad, but it amounts to a toy I can't justify the price tag of given my other devices and needs.

That's what I did.
I got a new iPad 2 16 gb for $360 from Microcenter ($390 with tax). Amazing what a difference a day can make in the price.
March 7th the 16 gb iPad 2 was $499, I ordered mine Thursday the 8th and it was $359.

 

I pass.. I have an iPad 1 because it was a gift. It's a very nice, shiny paper weight.

 

I'm not going to get a new iPad, but I might get a 2 for the new discounted price.

Still trying to decide whether or not the Transformer Prime is worth the $150 premium over the iPad 2 for what I'll be using it for (web browsing, YouTube, movies, etc), but then again it does have expandable memory....

 

I have the ipad 2 32gb wifi. I wont be getting the new one. Mine only has 4gb of space left though lol.

Got in line at the Apple store around 5AM this morning and picked up a white 32GB AT&T 4G iPad. Loading it up with apps and stuff right now.
