how come i cant change the multipler. unlocked at 14x it is 2.8 when i disable it it runs at 3.8 with 19. i want to run with a 14x at 3.8 can this be done

 

Well, if you change the multiplier to x14 the (3.8ghz) CPU will run at 2.8ghz because it will run at the full FSB speed of 200mhz. You can drop the multi but won't drop the fsb.....if that's what you're asking.

The reason why the multi can be dropped is so that you can overclock the FSB higher than the speed clocks, for example; my 660 does 309x14 or 240x18, lowering the multi it's for gaining more bandwidth but honestly I don't see "that" much of a difference between 309x14 to 240x18.
