Crysis is my pick. Never gets old on max settings.

 

If gameplay is what you want, GoW beats crysis.

GOW was a really good game. Might have to reinstall myself.

Hell, Crysis might not be an insanely gripping story but it's better than Gears of War.

I recently reinstalled GOW but Crysis has much more playtime and in general is much more fun imo.. and the mods the wonderful mods!!

 

I am starting crysis again later today!

Crysis DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A STORY. It is like Cryteks major selling point was the visuals, and when they were designing the maps they decided to make up random ***** and put that together as a story. It blows in every single way. Gears of War's story is average. Mostly because you care more about the INNOVATIVE (remember folks, Crysis is still a FPS, no matter how you slice it) gameplay than the story.....

Gears gets my vote...

 

Ugh I just got a flashback to the horrific bugs I had with GoW...unless they fixed that lost saves glitch then no.

Crysis DOES have story.. albeit it only shows after the first few levels. But then it gets interesting and really fun (what about that V-TOL mission eh? can't fly no V-TOLs in GOW).

I love the first Crysis game. It might not have the best story, but I absolutely love the gameplay, even disregarding the graphics. Yes, it probably CAN be boring like some people tell you, if you play it that way. But if you have fun with the AI by setting up traps and using the destructible environment, and enjoy stealth killing, then it's a blast.

Gears of War is fun but I vote for Crysis.

 

Installing Crysis now.

Gonna play GOW when I beat Crysis again.
