When I built the White Asylum rig with my first Case Labs case I wrote in one of my last posts that I was gonna order another CL case to replace the case of the "New Beginning" rig which is a Mountain Mods one. Well here we go! A brand new Black SMH10!!
biggrin.gif

So here's the new Build Log which feature the replacement of the current case with the current components BUT with some replaced one and some additions too…

This new build is called "Ergo Proxy" which was a manga aired in 2006 for only a season but I loved it very much. It will not be a tribute to the show. I only took the name because I find it cool. The only thing that could ressemble the show and the case is "darkness". But you'll have to add some UV to describe the case

.

I hope you'll like it so let's go!

A preview of the new things that will go in the SMH10

Since the fans I wanted were less expensive at FrozenCPU I had to order there and I receive this in my shipment...

subbed-durido ! I like how the first pic in a CL log, is almost always of the box, and there's rarely any object - but the box - in the pic, for size comparison.
It kind of baffles the mind that so much case goodness can be boxed up, but CL does it the best ;-)

I've noticed that about the box picture

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the lack of updates but the last 2 weeks have been really busy for me. During this time I won a Primochill/FrozenCPU giveaway (
wheee.gif
) so I decided to put those goodies in this built so instead of going with Bitspower fittings and 1/2"ID X 3/4"OD tubing, I will go with the new Primochill Ghosts Compression Fittings and their new Rigid Tubing!

The build should resume soon guys!

Okay finally some updates on this build
biggrin.gif

In the last days I installed the radiators and fans. Everything is wired to the fan controller and the molex extension for the controller is done too. I tested the setup and everything is working fine!

Here are a few pictures. Sorry for the lightning spots on the pictures

I hate myself when I see this...

The 360mm on the PSU side

Front 360mm

Both 480mm on the top and on the motherboard side

Just another angle for fun

This is what I call TIGHT!!!!

In the bottom compartment, I have one 480 in push on one side and one 360 in push + the PSU on the other side. Everything fits even with the front 360. It's tight but it fits.

Tomorrow morning I will take a picture to show you how it turns out.

Im in! Loved your sm8 build so I know I will love this bad boy!

Here's what I was talking about DigiOC...

This one is from the main chamber. The bottom 480 is literally under the from 360 and the space between those 2 is about 2mm!!!!!!
biggrin.gif

This one is from inside the bottom chamber. It shows the radiators overlap and also the space between the 2 bottom rads which is about 90mm.

I could have gain more space (~10mm) between the front rad and the bottom one by lowering the rad support one screw hole down but it's ok for me this way so....

Is there any way to hide the empty space at the end of the 480? I ask because im doing the same setup with the 360 & 480.
Unfortunatly no. The space is there because i'm using a 120.4 radiator. But this space can also hold a 140.4 which would cover the whole space.

Here's pictures from the Case Labs website showing the 140.4 mount on an SMH10 and an STH10 (they have the same bottom chamber)

Hope it helps

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I finally received my Primochill stuff!!

I also sleeved the pump so here are the pictures

The prize giveaway was for 12 fittings so I purchased 4 more to complete my build

I like this shot of the Flow Indicator

Money shot of one of the fittings. They look amazing BTW!

Sleeved pump

I should start bending acrylic today

Yes I chose the Clear one since I will use Mayhems X1 UV Emerald Green coolant...so yes for your second question

Well It had to happen

The PSU i'm currently using and obviously the one that is suppose to be transfered in this build is a f*****g pain in the butt in terms of sleeving....tons of double crimped wires.

I never realize that since I was using extensions in the current rig.

Now I have to decide if I go and buy a new one, use extensions or I don't know....

This is kinda frustrate me right now I have to say.

Feel free to let me know what you think guys.

Considering how big that case is, I would just sleeve some extensions.

I just watched a video by Lutro0 showing a double wire guide. Instead of double crimping he solder the wires at some point where it will be hidden and also show the sleeving method with this type of wire. That could be a possibility...
