It seems that EA has removed some content from Battlefield 3′s upcoming DLC, Aftermath and End Game. According to the official BF3 Twitter account, Aftermath was supposed to include new weapons, however it has been confirmed that both Aftermath and End Game won't feature any new weapons, at all.
EA has silently removed the additional weapons from both Aftermath's and End Game's profile pages in Battlelog.

Possibly. Considering they've already been sued for false advertising with BF3 last year, it's likely to happen again.

Plus, there was all the false advertising for Armored Kill, Close Quarters, and even the pricing of premium.

You might have quite a case.

If you can prove that EA guaranteed that new weapons would be released in these two expansions for those who bought Premium, you might have a slight chance, but not really.

If you bought Premium, you bought it to get all of the next expansion packs. You didn't specifically pay for the new weapons. You paid for new content and that's what you're getting.

Yes but looking at the before and after picture of their advertisement it was specifically saying about new weapons.

Btw I am not Premium I am asking out of curiosity.

I saw aftermath on battlelog a few days ago and never heard anything of it before yesterday. Now I see this. I wondered what it was.

Yea, I think if weapons had more differences between them it'd make weapons more fun. Like heavy damage assault weapons but very high recoil, low damage high ROF weapons, etc. It just seems like every weapon has the same amount of damage, around the same recoil, same attachments....eh. Boring I know.

They can't they agreed to a non-class action lawsuit when they purchased the game and started using Origin. This is what happens when people rollover and agree to things like this. You have no rights and companies can do whatever they please. They don't care about you, all they care about is squeezing every last drop of cash you have in your wallet and bank account.

Sorry, but if you pre-order anything from EA (Premium is effectively pre-ordering the DLC) then you deserve this, it's effectively saying you trust them and only a fool would trust any company, let alone EA.

I guess its not but at least its free.
Still sucks about the weapons! I want some new ones ... I'm getting tired of the same weapons. I need some new sniper rifles. Really miss the M95 from BFBC2

I'll use my sports season pass analogy..

You buy a season pass for all matches, but in the Ad it says you get free hotdogs and beer to sweeten the deal and make people buy the season pass.

However, the season pass states that you're going to ALL matches, and doesn't mention in its legal writing anything about hotdogs or beer. You go to the games, and find out you don't get those extras for free. Practically it is false advertisement. But technically, by law, its not and can't be ground for suing.

Welcome to advertising and the hype machine.

There's also the "Anything written here is subject to change without any prior notice" line that no one ever pays attention to.

EA Rep:
We removed the weapons because not everyone likes weapons. The average gamer doesn't even use weapons in BF3 and this way we can offer gamer's a value packed choice. You can buy the expansions and there is plenty of content there with new maps and some vehicles you can drive, but some gamer's will want more, and this is why we are proud to announce additional DLC in the form of weapons.
