The only symptom is 1-no boot

, maybe is because his board is older than a year??? and its internal selfdestruction clock is enabled......

Need more answers please!!!

Yes it do a beep

, also tried another PSU, and the mem.

Remember, is just when it start it, or reboot, the system is ok when running

I changed my old p4 setup because a bad 512 stick, made my board to tell me crap, well, at least was a good thing, a better system

Well as suggested I would remove all other hardware, leaving just one stick of memory, graphics card and 1 hard drive attached.

Reset the CMOS (take battery out for 15 minutes) then put the battery back and try and then boot.

If it then does not boot try replacing the memory module with the second one and try again.

If it then does not work I would suggest removing the motherboard and the other items mentioned above and test them outside of the case also.

If after this you still cannot get it working then you will need to swap parts until you can find the damaged one.

sorry i cant help any more than this

My friend continued to work on his dead machine, and it seems now that is the video card who is partially dead.

He said to me last night that he cant reinstall its bios, because reported an error "card not found"

he removed it and windows booted whit no video whit no problems, it seems that MSI dont like pci cards lol(my old MIS rig also didnt showed video whit pci cards).

We have a little problem to test his system, he is the only known person who has PCI-express here. Maybe are more, but we dont know them lol

, I told him, that happens when you buy any new "technology"

He modded his Radeon850 whit a zalman cooler system, I told him, maybe it shorted out, but have more than a year whit it.

Like I said before, maybe its internal doom clock reached ZERO hahahaha
