if it has a setting that will blow without creating heat, then i think it would be 100% safe. if it has a lower heat setting, it might work but you must be very careful to not overheat things that normally do not get hot. if it just has the normal hot setting, be very very very careful about heating things up.

all in all, it doesnt produce much air pressure, so i dunno if it would work very well, even disregaurding safety, unless you have a crazy powerful hairdryer.

Just don't use a vacuum cleaner. That one induces static.

@Capwn: Vanilla, bargain basement hairdryers don't do that. The fancy salon ones that says ION or something on it will.

Is that if the vacuum touches it? Or even if it gets close could it still make static?
