Why didn't EA ever patch this? I see people also have problems with a few other spots as well. I was going to clock this game and grab dead space 2 but now since I see there is no support EA can shove it.

Thanks for the help.

That's weird. I guess I was lucky, this game was glitch free for me.

Hope you get it fixed.

I do implore you to carry on though. It's one of the best games I have played in recent years. You won't be disappointed.

Alright fraps did the trick, this game is a riot so far. I need headphones and I need to wait until night to play it though as this seems like Doom 3 only more so. All I know is I have never yelled at doors in a video game as much as I have already in this game. OPEN FASTER, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CLOSE.

lol I know the feeling man!

I think getting the floors to open faster would need a faster hdd no? Just a thought.

And if your playing the PC version do you experience the mouse lag? thanks, kinda kills it for me on the pc, but I love it for ps3

turn off any v-sync in game and install riva turner, then in the riva turner folder go into tools and then D3DOverrider double click on the application and make sure u are forcing v-sync and tripple buffering

completely fixed mouse lag for me, make sure to turn the sensitivity up as well when u do this if u want more

Ill get back to you to see if it was a viable fix for me

No need for the RivaTuner method... just disable the Vsync in-game, and then force it and Triple Buffering through Nvidia control panel's 3D settings.

EDIT: I actually also enabled Ambient Occlusion, and the other goodies like 32xAA and 8xSupersampling, just for the hell of it.

The game actually looks a good bit better in my eyes, especially the AA helping with the jaggies on his back. The game went from floaty, laggy, and "jaggy", to smooth, precise, and sexy.

I just started playing it again a few days ago, to prep for Dead Space 2!

No its not my HDD its just the way the game is designed. Doors only open so fast, just like in any game. Its just when you are being chased you want them to open and shut at light speed

Buy this and thank me later:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16874103205&cm_re=xbox_360_wired-_-74-103-205-_-Product

Out of all my hardware this is easily the best purchase I have made.

I had actually noticed that sometimes a door would take way more time to open than others...I had the velociraptor 300gb as well at the time
EDIT:

Just started playing it for the pc and MAN, it looks and feels infinitely smoother, and better eye candy as well.

Gotta love PC

its too bad I didnt find out about this sooner otherwise I wouldve preordered this for the pc instead

ty i havent been able to play my dead space i nvr got to play the seris and picked up first for 2 bucks off g2a and also got 2 and 3 for super cheat all 3 for under 20 bucks. Nvr relised a high fps could mess up a game but soon as i turned on v-sync in my nvidia it worked tyvm, guess my Evga gtx 780 classified @ 1360 mhz and mem@ 7250 is just 2 much for this older game
