I am looking to buy a new computer. I would like very fast RAM~8GB budget $250

Can't choose between the four. Preferably want them water-cooled. The Kingston HyperX H20 takes care of that by having water cooling built in. But I'd have to get two of these Kingston 2x 2GB modules and they would take up all ram slots (it would be nice to have room for upgrade.) They also don't match the rest of my system.

The Mushkin and the G.Skill are both very good, have an excellent clock speed and timings, and from the top, the G.Skill looks better to me. I think I'm a little leanient to the G.Skill at the moment-especially after I saw thisAwesome water cooled computer. Are there any other RAM companies I could consider? Please help me choose on what RAM to buy.

I want it to be nice and cold RAM.

Here are my current choices in order of likingness. Also, if you know of anyway to water cool any of these sticks, please let me know.

1. G.Skill 9-11-9-28 2133MHz 8GB $169

2. Mushkin 9-11-10-28 2133MHz 8GB $139

3. 2x Kingston HyperX H20 9-9-9 2133MHz 4GB $109

4. Corsair Dominator GT 9-10-9-27 2000MHz 8GB $189

I've never built a liquid-cooled system before... adventure... fun.

Basic system specs:
HAF X
Intel i7 2600k (water cooled)
Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z (Not out yet)
XSPC Rasa 750 RX360 water cooling kit.
nVidia Quadro 2000 (Air cooled)

G.Skill ftw! Mine have worked flawlessly and they have great customer support. Also water cooling ram = complete waste

I'll forget about water cooling but can you get timings like 9-9-9 on the G.Skill or the Munshkin?

I think I'll get the G.Skill.

You can if you underclock them i know that for sure. I don't know if they can be tightend that much at that speed.

I have chosen G.Skill's. If you have any tips, don't hesitate to post them.

I'm stuck again. The kingstons are so quick, but the G.Skills looks SO good! The kingstons have timings of 9-9-9@2133MHz.

I found out from an e-mail from Mushkin themselves that they are re-releasing their copperheads soon. It'll allow for water cooling=tighter timings.

looks like I will be getting them when they come out.

This time I have settled. The G.Skills run cool, look cool and run fast! I have plenty of room to upgrade to 16GB if I want to and they're cheap! Seemed like a no-brainer towards the end although I'm sure I couldn't have gone wrong with the mushkins either.

I agree... I love going overboard...

I'm sure someday I'll add it to the loop.

Yes. The only thing stopping me is the max voltage. (Tighter timings.) It's only a few nanoseconds difference anyway...

I still think I will add it to the loop someday. It would be interesting if water cooling heated it up.
