GT 440 will be better [by far] than the 2600k at graphics / gaming - the integrated graphics on the 2600k are decent for integrated, but terrible compared to most dedicated GPU's

Use the GT 440! Much better.
Its funny however, the Integrated GPU on the 2600k will destroy the GT 440 in encoding and rendering.
