Fixed, thx OCN!

It seems to me that my QcK is worn down. I thought it was just dirty, but I've tried wiping it off with water or completely soaking it and there's still a HUGE bright spot. Besides the bright spot, it seems the cloth is simply worn down in the middle if I look very closely. Will this be my laptop mouse pad from now on?

Bright spot:
450

You could try cleaning it with water and soap. But to be honest, it shouldn't really affect performance or anything. And wear is expected... I mean is like a $10 mousepad, right? Not much you can do about it.

Are you serious? Like, with my clothes?

I started to get a white spot around where my wrist sits on the QcK. I just rotated it 180 degrees to use the other side. It didn't really affect performance for me though unlike when a hard pad starts to get worn down. I just assumed it was fading of the dye on the cloth.

Besides, many gamers like their soft mats broken-in.
I thought worn down pads were useless.

I'll throw it in the washing machine when I get home.

"Useless" is for you to define. If it fulfills your needs (which I assume is to track flawlessly), then it's not useless. And doesn't need fixing.
By experience, fixing always implies a risk for the fix to go wrong. Which is a unnecessary risk to take, if your mat performs to your needs.

Yep. The SteelSeries logo faded a bit, but the rest of the pad is nice.
