Thanks for the link! I'm annoyed they do not include the standoffs, I mean I payed a lot for the case, the least they could do was throw in some screws!

I had a peek through the grill at the back and it looks like there is a white box of some sort.

- Now I can go and cancel my Amazon order muahaha. I'm planning on building it tommorow night. - From say 4.15 to 5.30 then aboutt 5.45 to 9.00 - I'm also planning to install windows and other drivers in that timeframe too. Does it seem reasonable? It'd only take 2 hours at most to build it right? Then about half an hour or something to install windows? Then drivers, and then possibly METRO 2033 !!!

sounds like a reasonable amount of time, however i'd doubt you'll get to metro 2033. microsoft will cost you a ton of time in patching and rebooting and that's assuming you have the install disk with SP1 already on there. you'll also need to install "other" stuff like adobe reader, flash, firefox, VLC, pigon and whatever else you use on a daily basis. next step would be maybe running about 12hrs of prime95 to make sure your system is nice and burned in and your TIM is good. after that maybe a few hrs of heaven + prime95 to make sure you gpu is solid and your case is able to deliver the cooling needed for max load.(also to make sure your PSU is solid enough) AFTER you've done all your burn in tests, then you can start loading your games etc... no point in putting everything in just to pop a cap on the PSU a week down the road right?

sorry to burst your bubble like this, but that's how i'd build my personal system:D

Would it hurt just playing a bit of metro? not for too long? Anyway not everyone does prime95, so it cannot be bad to play metro...

How is a corsair 850w AXUK 80+ Gold gonna die? with an amd 7970

when you 1st build a machine is when you do all your burn in tests and validation. chances are you will never burn out an AX PSU since it's one of the best on the market. but validation is still something you should do when you build a new machine. it identifies and isolates the weak parts of your system and allow you to use your return policy if something does turn out to be defective.

chances are EVERYTHING will work perfectly.

but you don't want to find that out otherwise AFTER the return policy has expired:D
