I can't find for the life of me where it installs the game and puts the exe launch file. If I want to even add it as a non-steam game, I can't seem to find the location of the file. Anyone know where it is?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\*GameName* is the default path.
In order to use the Steam Overlay, you'll have to add Origin itself to the list and rename the shortcut within Steam to what the game is called and then launch the desired game from the Origin client.
Failing to do this results in the game's executable closing to launch Origin, to relaunch the game's executable. This results in the Steam Overlay closing due to it thinking the session has ended and it is no longer required.

Only matters if the game requires Origin's built in DRM. Anything else you can just add the normal .exe file.

True but the way EA is forcing Origin down everyone's throat, I'd imagine Origin-specific executables for every game available on the platform will be made soon enough.

There is no actual launch exe files of the games in the "Origins games" folder. Only a folder with the game name and some regular files in it. If I rename origins to the game name I will have to rename it every time I play a different game? Considering I'll have two games soon already. Syndicate and ME3 as origin only games.

I ran into the same problem of not finding where origin hides it .exe programs, but I have found a solution if you're on Win7. This may or may not work on other OS's, though. Just go to Window's game folder (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games), and shortcuts of the games should be stored there. They're not exactly to .exe program, but it will get the job done.

EDIT: Shortcuts may not be accepted by steam when trying to "Add a Non-Steam Game", but going into the origin folder seems to work for some games.

For example: I tried adding BF3 to steam, and A:\Origin\Battlefield 3\bf3.exe (I used a non-OS drive to install the game, so your mileage may vary) worked.
