Despite the overclock out of the box, we saw significant additional manual OC potential, up to 1230 MHz, which a good deal higher than the AMD reference design, but again, not the highest we have seen on any HD 7870. Memory overclocking works very well, reaching 1615 MHz, almost standard with today's fast Hynix ICs.
Where is my 7870 HAWK >.>?!?!?

Man these HD78xx/79xx chips are going to be so dirty under water...

I can't wait to pick one up once water blocks start coming out!

Even 30 dollars is reasonable for such an amazing cooler

But the HAWK will be even better and have even more overclocking headroom. I assuming it's going to be quieter and cooler, too! I would rather wait for the HAWK. I'm not sure when it's supposed to be released, but I hope it's around by this summer. I'm hoping by then, more GTX 6xx cards are available too, so prices finally drop. A 7870 would be a huge upgrade from my GTX 460. I would even consider crossfire if I ever get the extra cash around.

*edit* Plus the blue and black will fit my color scheme.
