Thinking about trying out a Corsair H100 liquid cooling solution. I'm not 100% sure if it will fit into my Cooler Master Storm Enforcer case. Anyone ever try or have an opinion on it?

I know there's room on top for a 200mm or two 120mm fans in the Enforcer and the radiator for the H100 has two 120 fans on it but I wonder if the dimensions of radiator are bigger than the fans and will make my life difficult.

Any opinions welcome.

Rad will fit in case quite easily, however depending on your mobo and ram setup you may have to mount fans externally .ps I have a 4100 in my little rig works well, I would suggest you go with the H 80-thicker 120 with push-pull fans, will be more than up to the task !

Got the tape measure out and checked out my enforcer. H 100 will fit but like I said you will have to mount fans on top, if so buy a fan shroud and two grills. Make sure fans are sucking air out of case. This is my little rig-FX 4100-990fx mobo-antec kuhler 620 cooler-Asus 550 ti gpu-16 gig hyper X ram 1600 mhz. Jerry from Toronto.

I have been wondering this aswell, and I don't want to sound OCD or anything. But I have not found 1 person who has actually managed to fit the rad+fans inside the case using the screw holes. they all had to move it, or have it slanted or something.

Yeah, someone else in this thread used the original holes. It was angled and slanted, in my opinion that looked terrible. All in all I would recommend a different case or an h80 if you want it to look good, the h80 and the h100 are fairly similar in performance (-1.7 C temp difference (h80 - h100) on intel I7 @ 3.8ghz - 100% load according to the h100 box)

This was the closest thing to looking good and not like i didn't give a turd.

I think it shows that most manufacturers are not taking into consideration the mobo, they should offset holes and grills. However that would be a little too hard for them to figure out since they are not the end user.

in their defense its a mid tower case released prior to the h100 and does specify what fits with the case (2 120mm fans 1 240mm fan etc)
but if they could have set up elongated holes like (_______) across the top so we could tweak the positions that would've been great

I did use the screws that originally came with the h100, did you try to line up the holes as I did on page 1? Also I had to shave part of the rear fan off for the I/O ports so I could get the fit. If you need direct measurements let me know

I got it working by using the original screws and used those to mount into the middle 4 holes on the radiator through the venting holes on the top of the Storm Enforcer. It is a tight fit but I actually didn't have to remove or do anything to the rear fan. I'll post a picture so you can see

PS: I did try to drill 4 holes before I came up with this solution but they didn't line up with the radiator's holes.

Sorry for the bad camera work but this is all I can do at 1 AM

Cable management after a few more hours of prime95 to check if this is a stable setup.

here is my way of fitting the H100 into my Enforcer:

you'll need 8 motherboard standoffs, and 2 fan filters.

first, install the 8 motherboard standoffs to one side of the H100
second, mount the H100 inside the case, like so:

third, line up the fans and the filters outside the case, like this:

fourth, screw the fans with the H100 on the other side of the case,

that's it.. now you have an H100 in your Enforcer

I've done this a year ago, but I thought I must share it so everyone will benefit from it..

it's not necessary to have fan filters, but it'll give it a look, plus it will cause less accidents..

im planning to get a h100 or h100i for my storm enforcer in a weeks time, seeing as the one your showing in your case is a h100, would i be able to apply the same logic to a h100i also?
