Well I finished the Story under 10 hours on Veteran difficulty. I died a lot in some area which makes me rage because it is almost impossible to avoid + lag controls. Omg I hate the delay swapping weapons or after customizing. So much delays. GRRR

Ending, I'm not that impressed. KILL THE MOTHER OF ALIEN .... CLICK AND HOLD MOUSE 1. TTAADAAAA!~ what ??!?! whatt///.. that's it>!>!>!

There are games way bigger than that.

Note Crysis 3 campaign is only approx 5 hours.
Lackluster graphics.
And not many multiplayer maps (no not based on beta, but its EA, DLC DLC DLC)

Anyhow, not buying it, doesnt run good enough for the poor visuals.
And it uses Originspyware so no thanks.
Plus its EA; theyve yet to fix BF3's awful hitreg issues and physics....and performance, wait thats hypocrite DICE lol.
This guy is now the official master troll of this thread.

BTW, I will post up some screen shots in a bit.

I still feel like the beta ran beta for me with 313.96. I haven't played single player yet, but mp just feels like it's stuttering and just running worse than beta with 314.07.

Crysis 3 4320X2560 Portrait

I'm running an i5-2500k clocked at 4.2GHz and an MSI GTX 670 OC edition with 16GB Gskill Sniper X RAM.

I feel better reading all these people not being able to handle it at max settings on their multiple 690 setups... albeit at 1440p. I tried running the game at 1920x1200 at max settings and FXAA and got mostly stable 30fps with some drops to 20+ fps, but it just seemed control wise a bit laggy and wasn't as fun because of the jerkiness and non-fluidity (I dunno why it kept saying 28-30FPS because it seemed like there were like 50ms delays between when i clicked and the game responded (a bit like how it was in Crysis 1).

I've been messing around with the settings, I really like how the game looks at "ultra textures", so I left that on, while turning some of the settings to just "high", and antialiasing at x1 (maybe I should just turn it off?). But I noticed that I didn't have any issues with game smoothness in New York area, it was the outside rain and lighting that kinda seemed rugged at times.. It seems pretty smooth and I'm not sacrificing too much eye candy and the game is fairly smooth for me to play, perhaps like 30-50fps on average.

Does anyone notice that when prophet runs he sometimes limps/slows down on one leg or is that just lag or intentional? Maybe I should just turn off view bobbing in CVARs to see if thats the issue.

Game looks amazing.

errrrr, what. It is up to the publisher to pay for the patches,so EA has EVERYTHING to do with it.

Explain?

Low res textures in most cases, especially character clothing (faces look good though) oh wait maybe we get HD Texture Pack DLC.

Look at the clothing other than the scarf, its like Modern Warfare 3 visuals there.
And why would the ground be so distorted by rain?
Looks like someone used "Whirl" or "Warp" tool in PS or Paint.

Poor effects.
Small levels.
TERRIBLE netcode and hitboxes in MP.
No destruction?
Grass has no variation and looks the same everywhere unlike Crysis 1, which had differences in height, shades and density. And it even looks sometimes celshaded or like it belongs in Wind Waker.
Ripple effect is way overdone, theyre too big, and why would there be just one ripple? Foot != Waterdrop.
I can go on and on.

Runs bad aswell, 35-40fps on Very High? Wuuuuuuuut!? (note WITH MSAA) Since it doesnt look any better than Crysis 2 which ran much better than this, I find it odd.
Note to all the people who paid for the game and thus will completely defend their purchase etc to death and claim its the king of graphics and optimized yabba yabba doo, go along and play the game.

^ And you go along and troll those playing the game

Maybe try something else besides attention seeking?

I am getting so tired of people in lobbies with 200-300+ pings.

Seriously....

Do you guys know of any servers that kick people with ridiculous pings?(if that is even an option) I would prefer one that allows all game types.

ignore hamzta09, he does this all over the forum. and there ain't a damn game out there prettier than this. even screenshot he linked. gorgeous.

You have to understand that this people want something that cannot be achievable in todays hardware..

I mean what sane people would believe you can run this game @ 1600p+ with everything turn it on to the max and keep it going on a 120hz screen to keep it average at those frame rates.. For sure quad 7970 cannot do that.. I doubt a quad titan setup either cannot do that..

Got to much spoiled with all this console ports about time they throw reality once again to our faces right crysis 3?

Seriously, keep dreaming boys...

You have a single 680 and a weak cpu. Your opinion is invalid.

FYI besides that this game is amazing, there are mushrooms with smiley faces on them hidden throughout. Eat em to take a rainbow color trip! MAXIMUM DRUG

Seriously this game looks so good. I cant believe its making my systme crawl like this. The first screenshot is everything very high 8xmsaa, the second is 0msaa. Almost 2400mb on a 1080screen. whoa.
