Sup ppl?
One of the fans on my MSI GTX 560 Ti Hawk with the Twin Frozr III cooling system has stopped spinning. Here is a link to the Graphics Card I have http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTX-Ti-Hawk.html#?div=Specification

I have searched like crazy online and most of the information i've found relates to the Twin Frozr II, which uses slightly different fans. The one I have has 80mm fans while the previous Twin Frozr series use 65-75mm fans. I also contacted MSI (both North America and International) a few days ago and haven't gotten any reply.

Guides such as http://www.overclock.net/t/1336160/how-to-repair-msi-twin-frozr-heatsink-fans-or-how-to-fix-fans-where-there-is-no-hole-behind-the-sticker do not relate as the back of the fan is a solid plastic piece with no gaps to see the circuitry behind them, so I do not want to risk trying to open it to add lube, unless there is a guide someone can point me to where this has been done before.

I have searched worldwide ebay as well and to my surprise, I just cannot find these fans to purchase, even used, or even with the whole heatsink. RMA is not an option as I am in Jamaica and it would be too much trouble to mail it from here to the USA and then even more trouble to get it back.

I need help guys. All I know is these fans are 80x80x10mm and spin at about 4,500 RPM. Unlike the Twin Frozr II fans, mine have no labeling at all with any information I can use to identify them. The card still works great, and I hate to see it out of commission due to a simple fan.

I need help guys :|
Thanks

Last I checked the fans sell for $30 per if you try to buy them, which is a ripoff

You could also see if http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/detail/index/sArticle/25%3FcVariant%3DFN-VGA-AC-02 works
Thanks, but I really don't think I should have to go to the extent of using a completely different heatsink or an air/liquid cooler that costs over half of what I paid for to get the GPU. It's just a fan that died. Can you direct me to where these TFIII fans are sold? Or a P/N or anything like that?

MSI cards have a 3-year serial # based warranty. If you don't want to use an aftermarket cooler, you should be able to get it replaced.

, sorry missed that.

I don't think you're going to be able to fine a factory replacement cooler / parts unless you can find someone who's using water blocks or something and could spare them.
*If* you don't hear back from MSI (you should, that card is definitely still in warranty), then an aftermarket cooler is going to be your best option as mentioned.
