Fixed version?
They're keeping hush hush about all the issues they had with the first version. They said they were going to reintroduce it at the end of February, but it seems like they haven't mass produced the tweaked version yet.
What was wrong with the first ones?
Yeah that is annoying. I hate being told I have to have green or blue lights on something. Prefer White myself.
What annoys me enough to not buy anything else from Razer is Synapse...I'm still running the first rev. Mamba and hate the PTE sensor, but haven't found another mouse, aside from the Deathadder that I am interested in (and the Deathadder is just too old of a mouse for me to want to buy, plus I want physical dpi adjustment buttons as well as forward/back on the left side which that does not offer).
I haven't ever tried my Mamba wireless as I despise wireless peripherals. I can see the appeal for some, but I can handle a couple cables for the convenience of no dead batteries and in many cases a better quality experience.(specifically audio/video/network)Originally Posted by XKaan
I bought a Mamba when they first came out, because I liked the idea of using it wireless for casual things, and then going wired for gaming. Although the battery life was quite good for the first month or two, after that is became pathetic in a hurry. Now I just use it wired all the time because it will only last 2-3 hours max with casual use.
Oh well....I'm currently waiting for a G9x successor, as Logitech has never let me down yet! My g930 headset still has the same battery life as it did the day I first used it.
