okay so basically i just got a new case, the elite 430, and it only has basic stuff in it, blue ccfls, leds, 5 extra xigmatek fans... im wanting to mod this new case and make it look good, but not OTT... and also well presented...
grateful of all ideas, so come forth

i know i know i know my cable management isn't great, but its not an easy case to work with, there's no space behind the motherboard tray
this is my setup currently, not wanting to change lighting colour either...

I have this same case and have a couple, what I think a great. recommendations. The glass that comes on there sucks and I don't really like the intake fan, the plexi glass is a 14 inch by 17 inch. You can find this exact size at hardware stores all you have to do is drill holes for where those plastic rivets are and you don't even have to cut plexi. I was also able to mount my SSD's on the hard drives so the show in the window nicely. Plus the SSD's hide ALOT of those cables.

Hi.

I have the same case and want to mod it as well. And then build a new rig in it.

This Is my plan so far:
1. Use a new window without a fan opening. For this i buy a thicker glass cause i intend to silence the case.
2. I Cut the top fanfilter in half and use the part from the rear as a fan filter for the bottom intake.
3. I cut a hole (30x30) in the sidepanel behind the motherboard an make a new one to bulge it out for cabel management.
4. The rear top fan will be closed with a metal plate.

I Intend to use a 140mm be quiet shadow wings as an intake in the front, an 120 mm shadow wings as an intake from the bottom. An 120mm shadow wings as an intake from the top.
The CPU Cooler then shoul pull air from this intake and exhaust it to a rear 120 mm shadow wings exhaust.

But I don't know which CPU Cooler I should use. I Like the Designs of both cooler in your pictures. What is their name?

btw. this is are the hardware specs for the intended System:

ASRock Z77 Pro3
Intel i53570k
Corsair Vengeance 1600 8GB
2x Samsung harddrives (out of my old System)
MSI GTX 560 TI Twin Frozr II/OC (out of my old system)
be quiet! 550W

@Treyu - My cooler is the Zalman CNPS9000 - Very good cooler, keeps my overclocked quad core 4 GHz CPU under 65 Degrees C at all times

UPDATE
upgraded a lot of hardware since this was posted, also got a new power supply and individually sleeved the cable in alternate colours, black and white.
new motherboard cpu and graphics card!
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
Asus M5A97 CrossFire Motherboard
HIS Radeon 6850 HD - Fitted an Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro to this card to reduce temperature (brilliant cooler)

Photos coming soon...

have you tried to put the CPU fan pulling the air to the top ,

the rear fan as intake

and live the window cleared ? and maybe do the mod that kprice789 suggested

im suggesting this because i can see the case is "show-off" position , and those vent holes ruin the look

@yoi this thread is dead now, I no longer own this case or cooler. I opted for a cooler master haf xb and a corsair H80 not so long ago
