Putting the question aside if such a radiator makes any sense, do you guys know any 240mm-radiator that is not thicker than 25mm? Please post a link, that would be of tremendous help. Alternatively, what thicker radiator that you know is the closest to these 25mm?

I am aware that most manufacturers produce said "slim" or "super-slim" radiators, nonetheless none of them (that i know yet) is thinner or of max. 25mm depth....that's my point and that's why I am desperately asking you guys if you know any radiator with such dimensions.

I would suggest browsing all the manufacturer websites and seeing if it exists. EK, Phobya, Magicool, Swiftech, Hardware Labs, Alphacool, Koolance, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.

edit: XSPC, Aquacomputer

But like I said, for something made for PC watercooling, you're most likely out of luck finding anything thinner than 30mm. FWIW you asked in your OP for thicker alternatives, so ease up bro

Yep, I use a Black Ice GTS 280 in the top of my rig for the same reason. Rad + fans is around 55mm and it just squeaks into place

Isn't the H100 rad 25mm? But it's aluminium IIRC.

Black Ice Pro 2 is pretty thin as well.

EDIT:
Perhaps an alternative in case you really can't find a 25mm rad: http://www.prolimatech.com/en/products/detail.asp?id=2722&subid=2730#showtab
15 mm fans that supposedly don't do too shabby. Seen them in some thread somewhere but not really looked into it.
But could be an alternative if you are pressed for space.

EDIT2:
Another alternative: The XSPC AX rad. It's thicker than 25mm but you can slide it out of that frame. Perhaps it coulde fit without the housing. How to mount it? If you have zipties, there's a way

I bought the H100i a while ago to test whether it would fit. I had to send it back since it was just a little too thick with Scythe Slipstream Slims (12mm only). As far as i remember the H100i-rad was 30mm, adding 12mm of the Slipstreams made it 42mm, which is just a bit too much.

The entire package of rad+fans should not exceed 37mm.

That's why I am asking for a radiator not thicker than 25mm OR show me a fan thinner than 12mm OR a package not exceeding 37mm.

Well .... good luck

One last, desperate resort could be: get a thin rad and cut the fin area in half to make room for thin fans. Don't ask me how to properly seal the channels though (I suppose welding would be the most secure, but no idea what kind of metal that is and how it reacts to copper). It's harsh but it would be quite unique

As stated in my OP "Putting the question aside if such a radiator makes any sense"...right now I am only looking for any fitting rad/fan-combination, if there is any.

So the slimmest rad in the 30-25mm-range is the GTS 240 with 29.6mm? Anything slimmer than that?

I was looking at the 120mm version of this, but after seeing that it has 30 FPI I had to pass. I'm trying to move away from loud, high static air pressure fans and this rad would require them.
Can't argue with that, i'm currently using sp120 pwm's on mine manages sound pretty well but it can get fairly loud while gaming (fans go up to 2300 rpm according to hwmonitor)

I'm using 5 of these on a controller and they do pull hard, but at the price of 52 dba.

i think the magicool 360 30mm rad is actually 28,7 mm something like that but still not 25.

for fans i find the Alpenfohn Wingboost to move more air then SP and they make a far less annoying noise , same price and better bundle ,...

there is the gentle typhoone and new the scynthe model too , the gran flex

Well, from bird's eye-view i am thinking about putting the rad+fans in the upper area, right where the two BlackSilent Pro's are now situated:

Since there is no additional space in the case itself, I cannot mod anything in particular, plus I don't want to ruin the look of the case, so the rad/fans shall not be on the outside:

To give you an idea here's an older pic, where you can estimate the space between mobo and case, as I measured it is 38mm in total (have in mind fans right now are 25mm+screws+grilles+rubberframe between fans and case:

Thanks for that information. Checked the productsheet, but it's stating a 30mm width. Is there any owner of the Magicool 240 Slim Radiator out there that can measure and thus verify the width of 28.7mm? That would be great.
