I've seen a couple of products on the market for managing mice cables, I'm just wondering which ones are effective and actually help with cable drag along the desk or mouse pad. Thanks
I feel the same way, using the SteelSeries one seen on the left.Originally Posted by MrFerrari
I think that mousebungees are only good if you play at high sense so you can have a short cable between the mouse and the bungee. For lower sense I prefer the "pucks" like Razer Armadillo because it lets you put your cable in a nice curve on the table.

I use electrical tape
Is there anything much to say about how the pucks 'perform' compared to each other? I'm thinking it's all good so long as the thing removes drag and doesn't create any feeling of pull itself like it does often if you electrical tape the mouse wire.Originally Posted by MrFerrari

The original Armadillo is the best holder I've had, the new one is good but not as flexible and not as cool. At the moment I'm using the Quad Gaming "The mouse rock" and it's probably the coolest holder out there.
Not really. As long it's heavy enough to not move by the strain on the cable they should all be identical apart from how the cable comes out of the puck. Like the Armadillo that holds the cable vertically and my Mouse Rock that holds it vertically.
Ah, that helps a lot. Thanks!Originally Posted by MrFerrari

One flaw with the new Armadillo is that is can give some ugly marks on the cable if you have a rubber cable. The Mouse Rock is on the other hand very forgiving on the cable.
I wondered when someone was going to get to the expensive solution
Is it a preference thing, or do you just feel the cable less?
