Hi!
Hopefully someone can help me,
I had BF4 of several computers, but only my newest one is having this issue.
After 15m aprox of playing, my screen goes black, sound loops and PC crashes and restarts, no BSOD.
WhoCrashed shows nothing.

Specs:
4770k
780 Poseidon
16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro at 1866
Playing at 1080 on Ultra

Everything is liquid cooled, and well within normal op temps, never gets above 100f.

I was on 335.23, but tried a downgrade to 322.23 and still having the issue D:

Might be using up all your video memory, had this happen before because BF4 memory leak. Can you monitor how much usage you'r getting?

I can monitor it via GPU Tweaks monitor, Thanks for the idea, Ill try it right now and see what its showing. I have a friend with a 770, 2GB of VRAM and he plays on the same settings, never had this issue.

Im updating to 337.50 BETA and trying this

Is your processor overclocked? BF4 is very hard on overclocks. You might want to try bumping the voltage a notch and see if that helps.

Could be a power supply issue. Try using a different PCI express connector.

In order of things you should try:

1) Repair game or whatever that option is in Origin
2) Try turning HPET on or off in your BIOS, depending on what it's currently set to. Also, try turning it on or off in the OS as well. You should have four different combinations to try.
3) Update punkbuster manually?
4) memtest

If all else fails it might be a power issue. It sounds a little strange that a game could force your PC to emergency shutdown

1) Tried, 4-5 times, always says up to date
2) turned on using command, will post results soon.
3) Did the other day, just did again - no update just a "service test"
4) Ran memtest when I first built the rig a week ago, ran it for 48+ hours over several passes - clean results.

AFAIK the PSU is fine, I can run anything else with it fine. I benched it for 24 hours on triangle of death pulling 520 watts no problem xD

Black screen sounds like display driver stopped responding? Is the video card overclocked during testing? Try running the game in windowed mode and test it. If the video driver stops responding you will see the message or, if a blue screen you wil probably see it. Try setting in game settings to lower settings see if the issue occurs faster or slower. BF4 uses cpu and gpu pretty hard, make sure both aren't overclocked.

Will test this!
The Video card has this issue both in "Gaming" and basic mode, seeing that GPU Tweak changes it based on the applications, I will turn that off and test it

Also, when it crashed in 10 seconds are you in the game playing or just after you loaded it up?
Will uninstall and test now.
I went into windowed, hopped in a chopper and within 10 seconds it crashed. Black screen, sound loop, automatic power down and reboot D:

Edit: Uninstalling ALL Asus software including AI suite, lets see if that works

Try running this >> C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist\dxsetup.exe
Tried that in combination as the other things

It actually downloaded files and stuff, testing now will report back when done unless I pass out lol
