Third gif is weird. Why does it look like he's almost covered in a shadow? You can obviously see the light is very simplistic, and shouldn't be casting any shadows on the character itself, other than where he's self shadowed obviously.

Pretty nice overall though

maybe that is why the devs didn't want it in the final build

I'm getting 15-18 fps when driving

Yay for fantastic optimazation

This mod made my game look awesome without any fps drops!

Gave me tons of graphical anomalies and when there were not any the game really didnt look any better. OOO better headlights!!! Just what Watchdogs NEEDED!!!!

Guess thats what I get for modding it when I had zero issues before.

I don't get why my opinion seems to have been picked up as an irrelevant troll post, but in defense of my post, I was strictly pointing out how even the most minor, "simple" mods can make a game so much more amazing.

I love the modding possibilities of PC gaming, but having to tweak every game with 20 mods has become too common. I want to just play, with the best graphics possible.
Huh? This only goes to show why developers SHOULD let the gamers "fix" their games. The past decade of PC gaming indicates (to me) that the gamers can often deliver better ideas/gameplay/content/visuals than the developers themselves.

There is a major difference between modding a game to improve for it visually for fidelity / visual taste and downright fixing a broken game that was not delivered as promised.

Not perfect but the effect is a noticeable enough to make it a more enjoyable and immersive visual experience. I'd like to see how well this would look in a few more weeks, even.

I'm one of the guys who uses 'night shadows' in GTA4. Love me some dynamic lighting.

I thought this was AAA gaming in 2014.

Almost there.

Those little atom looking things on pretty much everything in the game just makes me thing this game uses Eculideons atoms instead of polygons. Just a thought. I couldn't even focus on the gif because of the little atom things

I think this needs a bump, since the modding community over at G3D are managing to fix all the flickering and stuttering, also getting very very close to the E3 2012 gameplay visuals.

Can't believe Ubisoft caped the game this bad for PC, is it because it looks worse on consoles? or what the hell?

2014 and we're having to modify games to add shadows for headlights...

Yea it would. The game may not be openly moddable but that doesn't necessarily stop modders.
