How is that relevant?

Edit: Ah it is probably due to me saying I could never get 1T stable with four DIMMS. That is why I was sad when I said that. Every time I get a new system or new memory I go "OK I will get 1T this time!" and I still have never gotten 1T stable when using two DIMMS per channel. I know it is possible but either my RAM, memory controller, or motherboard have never been up to it.

As we all know; 1T is much more unlikely to work with >1 DIMM per channel.

Now I think it is even more likely that the new RAM is bad.

One 4 GB 1866C10 will be slower than two 2GB 1333C9 because your CPU can use two memory DIMMs at the same time (dual channel memory). I would wait to install the new RAM until you have a second new DIMM. That said you really want to get a 2x kit so you get paired DIMMs. It should be fine anyway if you buy a second one of exactly the same kind, that is mostly if you want to be able to push it faster.

However, since it looks like this DIMM is bad you might take it back and get a 2x 4GB kit.

Your new RAM should work fine all by itself. If changing it to 2N doesn't get it stable take it back, it is bad RAM. I would take it back even if 2N worked but that is only because a single 1866C10 should be able to run 1333C8 1T. Going to 2T doesn't slow you down too much though. Leave all other timings on auto. If you really want to try to get it to work you can also set it to 10-11-10-30 2N simply to see what happens.

Getting Memtest to boot is also nice but I have only ever had Memtest tell me ram was bad. If it passes Memtest it could still be bad but if it fails it is definitely bad.

Oops:
After writing all that I finally looked up the RAM (to find its rated timings). Kingston says it is not compatible with your chipset. I am not sure why this might be but it could very well be some internal timing is never going to be stable in your system. Kingston lists H67, P67, Z68, Z77, Z87 and H61 while you have an older H55. Sorry

Oh crap!!!!
Tht's really bad news, i wish i would come here first before i buyed them. I can't find any other hyperx blu on their website. Will they change? I'll get 2x2GB 1333 or 1600 and sell thise ones as suggest but what other rams do you guys sugest and that will be compatible with my pc ? From hyperX

Maybe KHX18C10T2K2/8 or HX318C9T2K2/8, it lists P55 which is quite close to H55.

EDIT:
Oops again!, I found this post from a Kingston rep from October 2014:

"Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support and would like to offer some clarification. Our currently manufactured memory, including the HyperX Fury line, is compatible with Intel 6-series chipsets and later. The DH55TC has an Intel H55 chipset which is part of the Intel 5-series chipsets. As such, the HyperX Fury memory is not compatible with your system and we do not currently offer any memory that would be compatible with your system. You can try looking online for recently discontinued part numbers like KVR1333D3N9HK2/8G or KVR1333D3N9H/4G which are compatible with your motherboard. If you are unable to return the memory to your place of purchase, please contact us and we will do our best to work with you. Please check http://www.kingston.com/company/contacts to reach support in your area.

Thank you for selecting HyperX."

It sounds like you are out of luck with new HyperX and H55.

I agree, nothing is worth it. Your CPU isn't bad and the CPUs that are better are only a tiny bit better. Every quad core for 1156 is lower clocked.

An i5-760 ($189) or i7-875K ($315) are the only CPUs you could consider an upgrade and they would probably feel slower for most of what you do unless overclocked. There is so much more you could spend the money on (steak isn't worth it

). How about a SSD? Samsung 850 EVO 256GB ($135)
