Doesn't work. Long story short, you need to compare all the apples to find the pie ones.

Long story long, some of your Granny Smith trees are going to be heirlooms (fantastic for pies, but best for cider), while others are going to be the more common modern varietal, and really only good for eating. If you just go by brand, you're not going to catch the difference. If you just go by quality, you end up with not enough for your cider and pies. You need to compare all the apples to know what you have.

I'm astounded that this simple, fundamental, scientific concept is so aggressively fought.

Right, so tell me. I want to know what percentage out of total sales of Batman: AK sold on PC, PS4 & Xbone ?? How should I go about finding the answer provided all information is free & available to all.

I'm not sure your provided is the case, sadly. Total sales are a corporate secret, often skewed high for sales and stock price purposes. In theory, percentages might be found in some stockholder's quarterly revenue report. Even then, they wouldn't be accurate. Each game box's sales are skewed separately (promotional copies counted as sales, etc.), so the percentages are also skewed separately.
You'd have to change corporate sales reporting law. Sorry.

Stop dodging, what if I gave you the data, I need to know how would you get to the number of % distribution of sales on multi platform releases on said platforms. Leave corporate rules & policies out of the question.

Mortal Kombat X and Batman are both terribly awful ports.

Its clear that they had never even attempted to play these games before releasing these on PC. I mean anyone of us could have told them it wasn't ready for general release within 5 minutes of opening the game!

At least this is 'getting fixed' though. MKX is still unplayable, there hasn't been any official updates and WB are completely ignoring any support tickets.

The GW Lighting setting has quite a detrimental impact on frame rate. I can play on my TITAN X at 4K at a reasonable 45-60fps and no stuttering, but this is because of my frame buffer. The game has problems with how it handles transient buffering and it isn't discarding data efficiently which is why people with 4GB cards are really struggling to get the game to run properly.

It wasn't a dodge. Now that you've clarified, I'll answer. Assuming the data was solid, I'd divide the number of copies for each game box by the total number sold. That kind of division is how we come to find percentages.

Now for some reason, we've left both logic and elementary arithmetic.

That is what me and i'm assuming Masked has been arguing all along. It isn't worth it for Rocksteady to develop for a platform (in this case "PC") compared to far more profitable platform (in this case "Consoles"), because console sales far outweigh, in terms of $$ compared to PC for this game and many other multi platform games.

I haven't followed all that's been going on in this thread - however, to piggy back on your comment, you're right, it's all return on investment.

It takes money to develop these titles, and if the return isn't enticing, you simply don't invest in that market.

Scone,

You get SLI to work with this game? I can't even start the game w/ SLI enabled. I too get around the same performance @ 4K w/ one TX.

Getting around 25 - 30 FPS @ 5K w/ GameWorks turned on - need SLI to work!

Are all the problems resolved with the new patch?

I would also like to know, how would you install the game from disks instead of downloading from Steam. The retail copy seems to contain 5 DVDs but it seems to be only installing around 7.7GB from the disks and downloading the rest from the Steam. Is there a way to avoid this and force it to install entirely from DVDs?

Nope, all the problems are not resolved

Guess I'll just buy the console version & call it the day

HELP is it normal if your SSD writes 40+ gigs while playing this game? i played for almost 2 hours, and it read 44 gigs in that time frame. Im using SSDReady to record how much data was read. I heard it has DRM, so i was curious if its writing too much. I have an intel 520 series 120GB. ATM, restarted pc and surfing, SSDready says expected lifetime is 2.2e+003 years. I guess thats alot, but for gaming, this is what i got.

my review and optimization for arkham knight
btw the game runs okay for the most part, besides stuttering here and there. And graphic fidelity isnt too high, but i used this "optimization guide". I run on low, since high and low has negligible difference.....Just follow this guide, will help gain some fps

and their is missing textures ofc. I havent experienced any bugs except if you change controls. And beating up street thugs off-mission didnt give me xp and fight stats overview.
Its alot of little things i find. The pc version was not polished/optimized. If you have good pc, and you good at games, then its bearable, but thats a small bracket of gamers.
i give the game 7/10. Otherwise if done correct, gets nine. But people having bad performance, i would give 4-5 stars in their place after patch.

That has to do with the Denuvo DRM build in it. It constantly reads and writes data while the game is running.

That's just speculation. Independent tests have actually been done that more or less prove otherwise. Please stop spreading rumor as fact.

Plus, with TRIM and other advances in MLC SSD technology, can be rewriting every bit continually for years and years on end before there's any degradation. Much has changed since when SSDs were first introduced.

Denuvo is probably part of the reason why this game runs like crap on PC, because of the constant encryption and decryption of data.
