Are you using DPCLat or LatencyMon? DPCLat doesn't report the right values since Win8

thx, using latencymon now. Shows 50-170, not too bad.
Other values are skyrocketing high af, should i worry?

ALL I WANT IS A STABLE SYSTEM ;_______;

Make sure nothing in the background is running/hogging CPU time. And by your graph, something is using the nVidia driver quite a lot (any applications/programs you run using hardware acceleration?)

I have no integrated graphics, could this be the reason?
using Intel xeon e3-1230v2 along with gtx 660

It shouldn't be. I would not know what is causing the spikes as I have a different system and hardware configuration.

I just noticed that if i dont open any program, I have good results.. Do u know why opening any program spikes my pagefaults, dpc etc? Also I found that windows defender affects it quite alot too. Which cant be turned off permanently :/

When you open programs or start drivers, they begin series of polls or interrupts to the CPU to request a process to be completed at a given time frame. Most programs/drivers out there try and be not constantly polling or interrupting the CPU as that can cause a myriad of issues. Modern OS's handle the numerous events in the kernel via an Interrupt Service Handler (or Interrupt Service Routine) and/or a Deferred Procedure Call Service Routine to balance the numerous requests for the finite number of CPU cycles. When a program is not well optimized for the ISR/DPCSR schema that a kernel uses, they take more time than necessary to complete their processes, leaving process hangs or stutter/lag.

I was able to disable Defender with AVG Free as they conflicted and Defender gave up.

For all out there that still have this issue, if you have tried everything in this thread and other threads. check your RAM, for me it ended up being one faulty RAM-stick. i have isnced removed it without any other changes and my extreme Windows Driver Framework and/or Nvidia Driver latency is gone. haven heard a single crack or pop since i removed the faulty ram.
