New mouse from Bloody/A4

http://www.bloody.cn/Products.php?pid=31&id=92

Granted, the speed is still 2.5m/s to malfunction (100 inch/s max), but I really like the software + they use IR switch. Spec seems VERY similar (if not identical) to the PMW3320/AM010. So I think it's safe to assume that this is a rebranded sensor.

Gonna ask my chinese friend if he can import an activated Ultra Core 3/4 unit into the US

Not interested in their cheap cheating software, but I have tested it to see what it's about and you can activate it yourself on their site. It's not for free, though.

You can buy the software, or buy a preactivated mouse (usually cheaper, sold as a package).

Any info on sensor?

I have two of their mice that I bought last year and I didn't like them at all. I can take a photo if you like? In any case, I wouldn't recommend them unless you're in a budget, but even then there are better options IMO. The sensor tracked okish for a while, but the sensor glass got scratched because it sits extremely low.

Again, I have no idea if they've improved their new lineup.

The sensor glass you can remove, it's only a filter. Mine never scratched on a soft mousepad.

Their newest mouse (this one) is the only one that carries "PMW3325" sensor. I have the V7 previously and it worked great for $20, comes preactivated too

If you do actually have this particular one, please do send nudes pics.

These are the ones I have and none of them has the new sensor you mentioned.

Ah, that's a shame :|

But based on your speculation, what might the sensor be?

It's not a direct rebrand of the PMW3320, like AM010 <-> PMW3320. More likely a successor/alternative with a somewhat new design. Uses the same case and 3-wire SPI but has a higher maximum specified CPI capability, different product ID vs. AM010/PMW3320 and different feature registers. Also the operation voltage is lower.

But the max speed is still 100ips?

It's safe to assume that aside from minor changes, the sensor will have the same native DPI of 250CPI steps? I will most likely use 500CPI.

Or maybe tweak like the G402 / G302 80cpi step?

The black and silver one has the Avago A9800, and the plain black one has the Avago A3050. I bought them to test the software, and they are pretty cheap so I got two for the hell of it. Let's hope someone that has tested the new sensor stops by to answer your questions.

I buy from Taobao, hopefully someone can give some insight when I open up the mouse.

Is it possible for these sensors (3360 as well) to be fixed frame rate? I noticed they write this down on them.

The chip comes with self-adjusting variable frame rate algorithm to enable wireless gaming application.
Seems it's only there for power efficiency.

did the am010/pmw3320 lose tracking speed over high cpi like the 3050?

Hmm, but seller have posted the mouse with 3325 on Taobao?

Says CPI step is from 100 to 5000
CPI可调节范围100至5000 CPI
