not all the 8 pins match with the mother board connector
someone told me that rounded pins can go to square holes. is that right?

and sent me this http://prntscr.com/cn5rzc is it right to install the rounded pins into the square holes?

and if it fit should this be the right way?

PSU: seasonic m12ii 620 evo
MB: asus b150 pro gaming aura

8-pin cpu connectors are pretty universal. Are you sure you have the right cable? According to the pictures from the websites for each unit they will fit. If in doubt check the voltage with a multimeter.

Yes, that extra plastic clip on the connector clips on to the motherboard connector to keep it in place.

In the case of your PSU, and I've seen this on others, half of the 8-pin CPU connector uses regular ATX specification for 4-pin CPU connections, then the other half is all rounded so it can go in to the other half of an 8-pin CPU connector or in to a regular ATX spec CPU connector if you had two 4-pin connectors side by side for say a dual-socket board.
