I have an Acer VX15 laptop with an i7 7700HQ and a GTX 1050 Ti. The gpu stays at 70c under load which is just fine but the cpu would reach temps up to 96c while gaming.
Applying an undervolt of -0.110v to my CPU core using Intel's XTU program, cpu temps seem to have gone down considerably and now the cpu stays around 85c while gaming.

What's a good undervolt value for the integrated graphics?
Since only the dedicated GPU is supposed to be used while gaming, would I even get any lower temps on my CPU by applying an undervolt to the iGPU?

I just repasted my VX15 with Notcua's TIM and the results are pretty good. CPU temps down to the 70's. 80c was the highest temp achieved while playing BF1 conquest 64 players. 10c difference just from reapplying thermal paste.
The GPU also went 5 degrees down.
