I seen this mouse 1-2 years ago.
The cable could come out the back of the mouse and it wouldn't make any difference other than probably comfort. Not sure what your point is.
Not really, even with a good cable there is a small amount of force from the cable on to the mouse when you are moving it. Really though I would say the sensor placement is what is off center and it is just odd they would do that. Standard sensor placement is in line with the mouse wheel which puts it in the same spot relative to the buttons and wheel on different mice. Unless you have really weird hand positioning anything out of line with the wheel is going to be off center compared to most mice.
Probably explains why most of them feel like they have awkward sensor position and even angle to me. Good thing I can't stand that shape anyway. I've never used one long enough to really pay attention to them because they cramp my hand.
