I'm interested in starting my first rigid tube cooling loop and was wondering what people's experience with Barrow products has been like since they sell for so much less than the name brands. I've heard lots of good things about fittings but wanted to know what people think of the radiators, pumps, blocks etc.

Formulamod sells a kit that looks very affordable:

Has anyone had an experience, either positive or negative with this gear?

Looks like a decent kit. I pieced together something similar for build I did. Only way to even get a block for the card was through bykski so did the whole loop from aliexpress. It doesn't list a bending cord so you may want to add that just in case.

Good spot, I probably would have overlooked the silicone insert. I'll definitely add in a bending cord and possibly a few extra right angles and a valve fitting, just to make things a little easier.

My brother-in-law uses a Barrow CPU block on his 6600K with no issues and build quality is great.

As for me, all my fittings and hard line are Barrow and I love them! I really like the fact that they make 14mm tubing which is perfect in size. I am using the new v4 hard line fittings in matte black and they are amazing! The triple internal o-rings are great too. Highly recommended!

Hi guys and gals,

I want to build my first water cooling loop on my ryzen r7 1700, and later add a gpu to the loop.

The parts that I chose are all from barrow and wanted to know your thoughts on the list.

Any info on the parts is appreciated. ( if I made a mistake in picking them or missing something or there is better options)

The last post was in August so I guess he has bought them.

Was just gonna say Barrow have their V4 hardline compression fittings now, which are tripple o-ring
(or 4 o-ring if you count the o-ring you put on the tube that is compressed down by the screw down thingy).

I've just bought a load of these and they feel really solid.

I have been using v4 for a couple of months now and love them. No leaks first try and they are solid with great coating. I am using black with no chipping. The only complaint I had (not really a complaint though) is that with all those o-rings, getting the tubing inserted can be quite the pain!

yes, and I have finished the installation. though it was my first custom water loop and I don't have experience with other brands I have got some issues.

1. the pipes and res got easily scratched.
2. 24 pin cable had one of its pins broken and rgb cable for flow indicator was connected incorrectly.(unfortunately cant fix either in my country since I cant find molex pins here)
3. and as most of brans as I reed in internet you have to flush the radiator thoroughly for it had some particles inside.
4. and the pump on all speeds except min speed is hearable and you can feel the vibration a bit.
5. the pump mounts are also not great, it has a plastic holder around the res is made of low quality plastic and the color and mechanism it not good at all, also there is no manual for installation.

but overall i'm happy with my purchase and at the moment i'm running it with only distillate water and waiting for my meyhams pastel whit to arrive.I very like the quality of fittings.
when i get my mayhams and maitain my loop i will upload better quality picture.

I think this would happen with other brands as well

So yes looks like they are not good for custom cable modding

This is normal.

Based on the info on the website looks like they are using DDC pumps which are more noiser than the d5.

I have barrow radiator, bad thing on it is paint quality, it comes off really easy.

Water doesn't get warm on my cpu only loop with cheap fans on it and i5 2500k at 5GHz, its 60mm thick 360 radiator.

Every radiator I've ever owned the the paint comes off easily. This is definitely not unique to Barrow radiators.
