As far as I can tell, OCN's discord accomplishes a couple things:

1 - IRC style chat for general shennanigans
2 - Voice chat for general shennanigans
3 - Hub for the podcast (when it comes back)
4 - Hub for any tournaments hosted by OCN

All I say is about time!

About time, Teamspeak has been dead for a while. Almost everyone I know and have been gaming with has ditched TS for Discord. Even myself as a critic to discord's early and buggy beginnings held me off. Eventually It started to grow on me as those issues are sorted out over time and safe to say its much better than TS in almost every way now.

Bump to welcome in the new year and get the word out! Even if you idle/lurk, it'd be nice if everyone joined up and showed your support of The Overclock.net Discord! https://discord.gg/ftfFd6T Come on in and join the crowd. You won't regret it. :)

Hey guys,

We are now hosting a new OCN Discord server that you can find here: https://discord.gg/XeYPF5Y

The reason for changing is simple, I unfortunately lost the ability to access the server from an Admin level due to a 2FA technical issue as well as not having the backup codes, the latter is completely my bad ! The new server now has safeguards against this.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Regards,
E

It seems that the join link has expired. Can we get a new link? @ENTERPRISE

Neat.

And yeah, you can run Discord on a Linux distro. Was pretty easy to setup on Mint Mate.

Just joined myself, can confirm, links still working.
