So recently I rented a 144hz (USA, CA) BF4 server just to see how clean it would be and it was amazing. Unfortunately 144hz caps out at 20 players. Interested in trying to host a 120hz BF4 server which caps at 48 players. There are really no other 144hz or 120hz BF4 servers in NA to speak of. Would anyone be interested it playing on a server like this? It would take just the coordinating of getting 5-10 people to join at the same time to get it going and the randoms would join and we'd have a high tick populated server going. I'd love to play on a high tick server if only one was active.

Sounds pretty cool, but I don’t have BF4

I'd be down, but not sure how big the BF4 community is on OCN. Pretty sure most people moved on

Add me to the list!

I just got back into BF4 after getting my X27 :)

Well I looked it up, and it still seems silly.

Shooting the heck out of people and having them not die or having them die well delayed was one of my biggest issues in BF3. But it's not apparent at all in ancient games like Cod 2. Why is this a problem being solved now which was not a problem in the past?

Also, games should allow you to host your own servers renting servers is nonsense.

I'm not sure I understand. How does refresh rate effect what server you play on?
I'm referring to the tick rate of the server. The higher the tick rate (hz) the more times the server refreshes per second. Basically it makes it feel smoother/less laggy and the difference is quite noticable.

As fas as hosting your own server, I think it really does take a very beefy machine to run a BF4 server with all that it has going on.
