Looking to switch from my NZXT 810 to something more compact. I like the look of the H500 and the refresh coming out soon, but can't help but feel they could of done better. Airflow wise and rad cooling wise.

I have the 8700k with a Corsair H115 Pro and a new 2070 Super Gigabyte Gaming OC

I don't overclock so I probably could get away with the H510 that is coming out, but any recommendations on something better?

Take a look at the Phanteks P600s and the Evolv X

Define C or Define C Meshify. Very compact, very silent and nice temps.
Define C Meshify looks pretty nice indeed. However, will the Corsair H115 Pro and my GPU fit together in that case?

Was just watching a review that said with a cooler you only have 285mm for a GPU and my GPU per MC's site is 11.28 in. (286.50 mm)

It might be just too tight to fit..

Fractal says max length is 315mm for gpu. Minus the 29mm for the H115 = 286mm and the gpu I have is 286.5...
seriously...

I was about to suggest putting it at the top, but that only has room for 240mm. Perhaps look into the Meshify S2 - As it does have a bit more room to work with.

I may just go with the H510i as it has room for the GPU with the front using the H115 Pro and while air flow wasn't amazing it was ok.. and I am not running any overclocks so I think the system will be fine in that case.

What do you think?

My vote is for the H510. Ok to good airflow. Plus it has usb type c and audio jack combo.

Thanks momonz, now I am just waiting for MC to get them in stock and if I want the H510 or the H510i.. Don't know if I care about the lights as the side of the case won't really be viewable so maybe I save the extra $40~

H510 Elite (the glass version) at 1500RPM fan speed is worse for CPU temp than Meshify S2 / Phanteks P600S at 1000RPM fan speed. It's only vented on one of the sides for the front panel.

Can't go wrong with the Meshify, IMO. Best case I've ever bought.

Main downside is that you can't really mount standard 3.5 drives if you have a big ol PSU.

Meshify C/S2
Phanteks P600S/Pro M
Cooler Master H500

What about the standard H510 that doesnt have the glass in the front. The previous version H500 wasn't completely horrible at air flow.

I was get the Meshify C but it won't fit my GPU. and I was looking to stay away from the S2 as it was just overall bigger and I was trying to go for compact.

How long is your GPU?

How long is your GPU?
Gigabyte 2070 Super Gaming OC
https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SGAMING-OC-8GC#kf

Site says 286.5

I would like to put my Corsair H115 Pro in the front which is 29

Case specs says max is 315, minus the 29 leaving me with 286..
It MAY fit, but it will be extremely tight..

If I got with the S2, I guess I could do push/pull (I have the fans)

In this review the guy even says the C is too cramped for most people and the S2 left too much room and then he said that NZXT H500 did a good job at providing the middle ground.

Phanteks P400A was just released. It's slightly smaller than the S2.

That isn't a bad option. Just looking at the P400 original as I believe the A is just a refresh with RGB, GPU vertical mount and some other newer features. At a $90 price point for RGB and a fill front mesh - looks like a great option.

Now to wait a few weeks until its available for purchase and review on the A version pop up.
