run TM5 and check for memory errors

its the amd experience...
part of the package..

and ppl will still flock over to buy 6k series...
That's why I will hang tight with my 3080 even if the 6k series has more vram. Driver crashes are the worst.

My 5700XT is running just fine over here so....Yeah

So some people have issue with a GPU, all are bad? I have multiple friends with no issue.
the people who say every AMD GPU had issues. are just trying to rattle your cage.

as far as OP goes, what driver version, and version of windows is running on your system? and for those who say it doesnt matter it does.

if its a mounting pressure issue, and you have the plastic washers from a waterblock install, put them underneath the mounting screws on the gpu cooler mount bracket, i did it with mine before i had my waterblock in my hands and it dropped around 7-10c off the temps on core and junction, specifically the 4 screws on the springs around the die.

ive also heard on 300/400 series boards, locking gpu to gen 3 instead of auto in bios solves alot of crashing for people apparently theres a glitch in that auto setting on early boards.

I also had similar-ish issues with COD crashing and weird frame tearing/lag in multiple games even though my FPS/frametimes were fine. After days of under/over volting, over/under clocking, and messing with fan curves I fixed it. I had to DDU 3 times in a row in safe mode, safe mode is key, and reinstall the driver's from scratch. This was about 6 months ago and I've since had to do this same process again a couple of months ago due to the same crashes in COD. Everything runs perfect after this process though, and I'm currently running my card under volted to 1125 I believe at 2GHz with only a tiny memory overclock plus the fan curve set to not go above 50-55% through afterburner for these settings as AMD's software always defaults my settings to stock at random intervals.

Edit- same exact card BTW and it's the 2nd revision with the different screws that allowed for a much better mounting pressure.

It dosn't matter what I do, it keeps crashing.I'm done with this amd gpu
Maybe OP return card for full refunds.

Not familiar with this card but finding that its maybe not the hardware. Since fixing windows and optimize adrenaline things have gotten much better for my 5700xt. It takes awhile to do but seems like its the worth it. Play RDR2 at 61fps and no problems. Games dont see the difference if I overclock cpu or not but I see the temps just tiny bit. Some say just leave the single core boost but in games I play so far core use so low and they maybe perform better when I boost all cores and lower voltages. :)

Most of them had issues. I guess this is yet another case of 5700 XT crashing that AMD fanboys will just ignore. Check your PSU, check your RAM, blah blah. How about check your AMD? Not one person mentions the actual cause of the issue, which is the AMD drivers.

i love when people only quote one part of what i said.
there is no fanboy in me, i buy what i can afford at that specific time, if that makes you angry so be it. i did specifically state windows and driver versions effect this issue, and there are specific fixes for each case.

no company is perfect, infact i still have copies of nvidias botched drivers on my server. the ones that famously locked fan speed to 35% and melted gpus into pci-e slots. i actually had that issue first hand, ruined a pair of cards i bought brand new a few weeks before. nvidia took no resposibility and neither did EVGA.

if you read any manufacturers or AIB sites. in the fine print. they specifically state they do not test every hardware configuration, nor do they take any resposibility for driver issues or part incompatibility. it is thrown to the users resposibility to solve after purchase.

So if it is the users responsibility and can't be resolved without tons of extra work, the card is going back as defective. I had a 5700Xt at launch and it was such a miserable experience, I sent the card back after 5 days. No reason to keep fighting with drivers if there is another option with much better drivers. Just my opinion.

It can be frustrating I understand people buy new expensive gpu and dont want all crashes. Went thru same thing with mine I get lucky and find some good info that helped. At first I thought it was amd then dx12 but changes that helped most seem to be to windows 10 its just crazy and so invasive :)
