Asus tuf X570 plus wifi ram speed

I've just upgraded ram to crucial Ballistix RGB BL2K16G36C16U4BL 3600 MHz, DDR4
I forgot to check motherboard speed compatibility
Just had a look and 3600 is not on spec
Is this a problem ?

I think if you go int the bios and enable DOCP, it will default to 3600, 1.35v, and all the other settings that go with it. Works fine on my TUF Gaming x570 plus wifi board.

yes, docp. It may already be there as configuration 1.

its DOCP for Asus and A-XMP for MSI and XMP for Gigabyte..all does the same thing..just loads up the XMP profile of the dimms if it comes with one..

@OP
you can either use DOCP for convenience or just manually input your timings and memory frequency in and dial the memory clock to the desired frequency..but the latter is only advised if you know what you are doing..
