I am looking for a simple temp sensor and display that is a standalone setup. Meaning no software or additional hardware to use it. Just hook it up and done. I have seen these around before, but never really looked into getting one. When testing I just used a thermal probe in my res hooked to my multimeter.

My ideal setup would be a simple plug style sensor. I plan to put it in one of the unused ports on my res. Then a simple LCD/OLED display that I can place just about any place I want. Again, these use to be pretty common, but seems hard to find now. Aside from the crappy Phobya ones. The screens on those sucked a decade ago and they appear to be the same units. Guessing leftovers.

Anything out there that fits the bill on this? OLED or at least a more modern and clear LCD are really the more important part. And I am only looking for temp and not an inline unit.
 

this is what I use, and its for sale at around 30$ from where I am at..

Temp sensor is within 0.1-0.2 of what my wall thermometer reads and what the motherboard is recording/showing..regarding the flow, I am not so sure about its accuracy..

edit:

then plug it in your mobo header for sensor..should read from HWINFO directly and in your BIOS..
 
I have a very simple temperature display that I put in a blank 5.25" cover plate. I made a square hole with a dremal tool and mounted it. Then I bought the XSPC sensor (for water) with a "T" fitting; actually, I bought 2. I will hookup a 5 position-2 pole rotary switch to select among many temperatures, all manual, no software.

High flow next! Software and USB are needed to set it up but after that never need to plug it in again
Can you use the high flow next without using the software? I mean as long as the display on the flow sensor works and shows you everything you need inc adjusting pump speed etc?

Okay, I dont think you have 7 rads or 6 pumps but with your High flow Next installed (1 or 2 pumps?), what is your flow rate, curious.

I do have 7 radiators and 6 pumps though 2 of the pumps had issues and had to be shut down. With 4 pumps at about 70% I was getting 1GPM.
With all 6 running I dropped them down to 25% for the same flow rate.

Am in the process of a tear down atm to change fluids but I’ll let you know the new rate when I get my GPU block installed

Yep, Caselabs, very good. I have the smaller/shorter one that fits under the desk. I see a sandwich, very good! Well, yes, you won the prize, hang onto that case, they are valuable.
Mine, 3 rads, 14 fans, 2 mcp655 pumps but still building it. use to have the Asus Black edition--too old and crapped out. work in progress but keeping my caselabs
Are all those fans quiet?
 
The thing I really with your case is the bottom pedestal, it holds 2 rads and sucks-in all the cold air. Mine is on top and not that tall, should have gotten the bottom part; it was my first build, no experience.
