Hello Guys

I am searching for a cheap PSU with good quality for a friend's RX 7900 XTX build running on 3700X with many HDDs and SSDs .

I found this unit, and reviews seem favourable.

If this unit is not good, kindly give your suggestion, and if there is something cheaper but with good quality that would be an option too.
He wants a 1000w PSU.

Thanks in advance.

Its $202,97 on Amazon for a Focus GX

Might be able to find it for less somewhere else

$189,99 for an RMx

$179,99 for an NZXT C1000 which is a Seasonic Focus GX rebrand

$21 more for the NZXT is a better deal than the FSP is

Thanks for the contribution guys.

We found a slightly discounted Corsair RM1000x 2021 and decided to go with it.

I was going to recommended the Corsair too since the RMx series gets amazingly good reviews. 3,555 five star reviews on amazon, that's incredible.
Corsair RM1000x
Amazon reviews and ratings are useless people will give something 5 stars if it turns on
None of them have ever done any load testing or taken one apart so they are about as useful reviews as farts are

It also works the other way people will write negative things more often than positive things so even the best of the best can get lower ratings because almost every DOA will result in a negative review/rating

Its useless info you can ignore

Mmm, I wouldn't go that far. Aris Mpitziopoulos is one person testing usually just one copy of a supply at one point in time. For supplies where Aris writes a review, the review's usually written not long after (or possibly before) release. The ongoing spew of Amazon reviews has low signal to noise ratio, yes, but they will pick up on things which happen after Aris' review, that Aris missed, that aren't necessarily clear from Aris' writing, or common user errors that you might want to check for in your build so that you can avoid them. So giving Amazon or other non-professional reviews a look over before committing to buying a supply based on reviews which do perform electrical testing and component analysis probably isn't a bad idea.

For the RM1000x Aris notes the cable capacitors as a con but I don't see anything in his review which explains why. Presumably it's because they make the ends of the cables stiff and hard to route, which is something that's described in multiple Amazon reviews. It's difficult for me to argue that's useless information you can ignore.
