And really, I think most CPUs should be able to do -30, the clock range on the 58X3D is still under 4600MHz.. technically under 4500MHz since you don't really see anything more than that. HWiNFO will log it, but you will never really see it even though each core is capable of hitting 4550, at least on my sample.

The only thing that is rather useful is the negative offset. Because this processor is too warm. Otherwise in FPS games, 120Mhz gave me 10 average FPS. What's the point if without Bclk you have higher FCLK and more stable ram which gives a stable FPS LOW.

No you can still have bad cores even on a 5800x3d, I am not saying all have them but just one bad core can increase ALL CORE load voltage alot.
My core 3 is the 2nd worst and needs -5 to be be fully stable and this causes all core VID to this ****ty core, all core loads will always use the highest VID of any core requsted.
I can benchmark -30 CO in 3dmark and most others but ycruncher will crash core3.

Which test in ycruncher crashes?

Finally got my hands on a MSI SUPRIM X 4090 Liquid, quite the upgrade from my 1080Ti (y)

Playing at 1440p doesn't seem to be as CPU limited as i thought it would be in the games i've tested so far (Cyberpunk, TLOU, Hogwarts) gpu is usually 85-99% load and the frame rates are about as absurd as the heat that comes from the dinky 240mm rad lol

The Final 1208 is identical to 1208 Beta accept the Security Patches.

If there is any need (of what ever reason) please send the Link to the BIOS File you wish to be modded then i will do it if i have time for.
I'm still on vacation (return is planed for end next week) so it'll take some time.

Otherwise stay with the Beta Mod.

Why are you using LLC?

My current sample is borderline enough that disabling C-states (which eliminates the C6 boost for that last 100MHz) is the difference between fairly quickly failing dual instances of core cycler and being able able to pass it (and everything else) indefinitely at -30 all-core CO.

This part can also do ~103MHz BLCK without issue, but even ~4.6GHz all core needs radically worse curves to be stable. I didn't fully validate such settings, but at least two cores needed a positive curve offset. If I had enough cooling I might play with it further, but it's entirely counterproductive with the setup I currently have.

For core3 N64 is the one that causes whea18 and reboot most consistent 1-2 cycles. I did reapply thermal paste/tried dirffrent paste, its just running hotter then any other core.
But with CPPC this core is parked most of the time, so its not much of an issue. I wish amd would give you a option to disable specific cores.

Can anyone tell me whats the best AMD CBS settings for a 5800x3d with a x570 Tomahawk for playing with the lastest AGESA?
If you get 1.2v SOC, 1.05 CCD/IOD, 1.1 VDDP I would lower them for lower temps in CBS. Also lowering EDC/TDC/PPT can be beneficial for temps and sometimes performance.

Sounds like a mobo with an internal clock generator, as that sounds like similar behavior when I was messing around with my 5800X non 3D on my B450 Tomahawk. One with an external clock gen, like the x570 Unify I have, only affects CPU and RAM speeds. Definitely need a mobo with an external clock gen to push further without corrupting/killing your drives.
Do you have the normal x570 unify?
Not the x570s variant right?
And you dont have issues with usb ports after 108mhz?

Yeah PBO -30 and bclk 102 is what most of us can get out of it unless you have a external clock generator.
Even then I doubt it would give much more, searched some threads with people who tried.
Only a handful succeeded bclk 105/106 with expensive motherboard + external clock generator
Yeah, I can do 105+ for benchmark runs, and I daily 104.20 BCLK with a +.0125V offset, with PPT to 140, TDC still 95, and EDC to 140 with PBO Curve at -24, -18, -18, -22,-22,-22,-24,-24.

104.2 BCLK with RAM at 3751Mhz gave me the best TimeSpy CPU scores though, as at higher BCLK my RAM timings weren't quite stable, so something I am still working on for higher BCLK.
RAN AIDA64 after I had already had everything open and running, which is why my latency is higher.

Yes, normal X570 Unify. I have not gone past 107 BCLK, but yeah I did experience some USB dropouts at that point.

Mhm I thought it has an external clockgen
I really need a board with a real external clockgen, I want to do 110mhz without any usb issues

Yeah 102.55BCLK I had cores that could do no better than ~ -5 CO to be stable in general and the other half ~ -10 CO unless I wanted clock stretching to occur. (meaning I lost actual performance going lower)

What I used, I have a third-party SATA controller that could only manage that far before it didn't work to detect attached drives more than that.

I've purchased a new m.2 nvme to replace the SATA boot drive that arrived in the last hour. If I remove all SATA I can probably push further if there is nothing else being a hindrance.
Though I've had issues with this Xtreme motherboard for a while so no idea if it works in the end or other issues just get in the way.
Though I might just rebuild my water cooling loop first when I change the drive.
