Well I’m running after burner to view temps when gaming and it’s says roughly around 80 but when I check hw monitor it’s saying the max temp it’s hit is 92c and yer running stock settings only setting I’ve changed is multi core enhancement changed that to remove all limits

Turn off MC enhancement. Your temps will normalize. What are you cooling with?

What are you using for cooler? 80 sounds hot for gaming even in all auto mode.

Yeah, thats pretty hot. Im using OC 12700k's and they never go above 65C when gaming. Arctic Freezer 420 and 1700 contact frame. Maybe repaste and reseat the cooler. Contact frames are a cheap way to get better temps too.

Yer I’ve been looking into contact frames heard mixed reviews though about them so unsure what to do first call is I’m going to re apply some thermal grizzly kryonaut see how I get on I know that the 14900k are hot chips anyways

I started with the EK 360 with push pull fans, before I ended up just looping it, The contact frames seems to help some, along with some high end thermal compound like KPx or thermal grizzly. and as far as turning down the voltage , I would try to set an offset with the program called XTU , search Jaystwocents for a video on the subject ,

Turned off mc enhancement no change I’m using a deep cool lt720
While I dont have that cooler that seems VERY high specially if you are keeping the limits and just during gaming.
I dont know your room temp which of course matters but for reference I am not keeping any limits and running something that heats up much more than a game like CB R23 I was pulling up to 330W and max temp was 88C. Gaming, or with lmits it drops a LOT compared to that.
Would be nice to see your setup as well.
