Just picked this up late last night at MC.. exchanged a MSI Suprim Liquid X for this one cause of thrbmax power and because they had a single Ek Strix water block for it thst I also bought.
Anyways last night I tested it really just to see if I hear any coil whine and to see it get close to 600watts. 0 coil noise that I could hear even with my ear right up on it.. it got to like 570+ watts in 3dmark benches... can't remember thr name of it now haha.
Anyways today I'm testing it again cause I noticed it running hot last night which was strange cause I set the fans to max to help the card while testing.
Card is running damn hot like 80c and the hot spot worse then that usually 10c over that.. memory over 80c as well.. thinking well its an air cooled card but damn.. which the size of this cooler and the fans cranked one would think it do better.. and I've heard the card did run cool.
Anyways.. I thought well.. ok, let's try to just run defaults without the msi afterburner sliders maxed on voltage and power of 120%.
Here's the shot of that.
Here is a pic with max fans, power and voltage slider to the max.
Now granted I have the block for the card and wanting to get started installing it haha.
Just wondering if by chance I got a faulty card or they forgot to paste the thing? Really strange temps and that hot spot is nuts!
Dis not see any artifacts or anything durring..
Also played a couple rounds of BF 2042 and all was fine.
