I'm on my way home from work, going to run Cyberpunk, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and FF14 benchmarks, maybe FPS screenshots of Diablo 4 with ray tracing maxed out as well. It's only a two hour trip on transit to get home.

Can confirm a nice 6ms or so drop in Aida64 with the Zen 5 Gaming Optimisation enabled. Not seen a huge improvement in OCCT or 3dMark benchmarks I was running though so not sure how important it is in the "real world".

After a few weeks of tweaking I think I've finally settled on my initial memory overclock with the Nova. It's a shame the memory is locked to a max of 1.43v, I had no idea that was a thing before I bought them but I did purchase them in a bit of a rush after lucking out on the CPU so should really have done my research. I am wondering whether 6200 with tighter timings might lead to better performance given that limitation, potentially with a higher FCLK possible as well. Also a bit disappointed that despite keeping the memory to around 50 degrees, I can't seem to bump TREFI beyond 50000. Pretty much everyone else seems to be able to max that out.

Other voltages: VDDG CCD 1.1v, VDDG IOD 1.0v, VDDIO 1.41v.

I've started playing around with PBO/CO now.

Sorry about not providing the benchmarks, I've been having issues with my PC spontaneously turning off. I narrowed it down to my PSU and turning off single rail and enabling multi-rail fixed it.

I have no energy to flash 3.10AS01 again and compare benchmarks right now.

I just restored my Macrium Reflect Free full Windows image to be sure the random shutdowns never corrupted my Windows install.

Why is VDD / VDDQ locked? My ram is also locked to 1.43 (useless), despite using it with 1.55v or higher on the Z790 Apex. Is this going to get fixed or what's going on here?

You need RAM with an unlocked PMIC, or you're limited to 1.43v. I think the Apex has a workaround for that.

Tested it, no difference in benchmarks, aida latency is better ~5-6ns

Full 8ns better latency.

If productivity is your thing, for example, KARHU drops from 355MB/sec in 3.10 to 337mB/sec in 3.17. :/

I have a really annoying issue. If I flash a BIOS, then manually input every BIOS setting, my PC is TM5 stabled even three hours in. If I load saved BIOS settings from USB or even a Profile I saved, TM5 shuts down my PC immediately.

So if I flash a BIOS or even reset the BIOS for any reason, I need to manually set everything, can't use saved profiles. I checked after loading a saved profile, every setting is set correctly.

Like if I save this stable profile now, hit CMOS Reset button, load the saved profile, totally unstable. It was fine until a few BIOS flashes ago

I even flashed a really old BIOS with an earlier AGESA, then flashed the new one. That usually fixes any instability, not working. :/

Here are my best results with PBO200 co -20 fclk 2133 RAM 6200c28 on BIOS 3.10. Do you think the bios update will improve my FPS in games or not? View attachment 2688164
is your 4090 oc ??
